A table becomes a framework for exploring scale, proportion and the space between its layered surfaces. Its open construction gives light room to define the form through shadow.

By changing the environmental lighting and viewpoint, I explored how the same structure can feel open, solid or suspended. The study considers how a single object can organise its surroundings and create atmosphere through its placement in space.
