An ongoing personal project creating a new playlist cover each month, exploring typography, composition, colour and image-making through different visual approaches. The series ranges from expressive typographic experiments and photographic compositions to more minimal, abstract designs.
More recently, I introduced a flexible grid system to provide a consistent framework while allowing each cover to develop its own visual character. The recurring format offers an opportunity to experiment, iterate and refine a visual language over time.
A shared grid
A grid established in early 2026 gives the playlist covers a shared structure. Consisting of 8 × 10 rectangles with spacing in between, it provides a framework for typography, imagery and composition while leaving room for each month to develop its own visual character. This improves consistency.
The sequence alternates between the covers and the underlying grid, revealing the structure that connects the series.
